St Mary’s has a trainee Youth Worker, Rupe JohnsonRupe Johnson

Hi, my name is Rupe Johnson and I am just beginning my second year here at St Marys. I moved to Wendover last October as part of my training to become a Youth Worker, but I grew up in south west London so being in the village of Wendover was quite a change in itself. I became a Christian when I realised that the things I had been taught in church applied to me, that they weren’t just stories. God wants to know me and be involved in my life, and that is something I want to pass on to other people. Being a Christian isn’t about knowing something, but having a relationship with God, so come and join us as we try to work out what that really means.

Refurbishment

Refurb fundraising reaches almost £800,000

We are delighted to inform all friends and families of Wendover that almost £800,000 has been raised by the St Mary's Refurbishment Appeal. This has been achieved through your generosity and hardwork. All involved in leading and co-ordinating this work are tremendously grateful to everyone for rallying together to reach this goal. We are still fundraising to raise a further £90,000 to complete the final parts of the project.
