How do I choose which service is for me?

You are welcome to all of our services.

8am. A said communion service without hymns or music, using traditional language. If you like a quiet and more reflective style of worship you may prefer this service. First Sunday of each month at St Mary’s, other Sundays at Wendover Christian Centre, Aylesbury Road.

9am. A Communion service including music and hymns in an traditional style using contemporary language. This may appeal to you if you are familiar with formal Anglican worship. There is no Junior Church at this service.

10.30am. This contemporary Communion service is relaxed in style, incorporating more modern music and an informal atmosphere. There is provision for families at this as Junior Church runs alongside. A family or children’s service is held once a month (normally on the fourth Sunday of the month) and baptisms also once a month.

Evenings. Occasionally we hold evening services at St Mary’s. These vary in style. Please check the calendar for details.

At St Michaels, Halton, there is an evening service every Sunday at 6pm. On the first Sunday in the month this is Book of Common Prayer (BCP) Holy Communion in traditional language with hymns. On other Sundays the service is sung Evensong, also following the BCP.

Mid-Week Communion. There is a said Communion service with space for quiet reflection, held on Thursdays at 9.30am at St Anne’s Church, Aylesbury Road.
